John DeVito, President & CEO

John DeVito has been associated with the company or one of its affiliates, and with one of the company’s predecessors in interest, R & M Associates – Electronic Data Products Service, Inc. since 1978. During his 26 year tenure with the company Mr. DeVito has held various positions including: Director of Service Operations, Vice President of Operations and Vice President/General Manager before assuming the role of President in April 1995.

Mr. DeVito has an in depth knowledge of the IT industry and a record that speaks for its self through DCi’s success. He has been a visionary in predicting industry trends and has continuously redefined DCi’s offerings to meet and in some cases exceed market expectations. This process has yielded many innovative service offerings commonly used today, including DCi’s “Co-Sourcing” Business Model. Mr. DeVito has been able to keep DCi in the forefront of IT solution providers in spite of various external adverse business conditions.

Mr. DeVito studied Electrical Engineering at Manhattan College before transferring to Poly Science Institute (PSI). He graduated from PSI with top honors and first in his class, obtaining an Electronic Technology Degree. He continued his professional development by completing numerous management and business courses at various institutions and was inducted into the Nationwide Register of Who’s Who in Executives and Business in 1998.

Alex Roque, Chief Financial Officer

Mr. Roque joined DCi in 2000 as Controller and subsequently became its Chief Financial Officer.

Mr. Roque is a Certified Public Accountant with more than twenty years of experience. His background has been in both public and private companies in industries such as retail, food service, specialty chemicals and IT services. Some of his specific past or present responsibilities have included financial reporting and analysis for private and public companies, initial public offerings of securities to the public, and the implementation and maintenance of capital financing relationships with various lenders.

Before joining DCi he spent 7 years with a $400M global specialty chemical manufacturer in charge of financial reporting. In that assignment he was also instrumental in the initial public offering of the manufacturer’s securities and in acquiring subsidiaries in Europe.

Mr. Roque received a Bachelors of Science Degree in Accounting from Bloomfield College and holds a Masters Degree in Management from Thomas Edison State College. He is also a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

Gary R. Eckert, Senior Vice President Operations

Gary Eckert has been associated with the company or one of its affiliates since 1979. During his tenure at DCi he has held various service and operations positions including Operations Manager, Director, Senior Director of Operations and Chief Administration Officer before assuming the role of Senior Vice President of Operations in June 2002.

Mr. Eckert has more than 25 years of service and operations experience and his responsibilities include management of the National Response Center, Technical Support Services, Product Technology Center, Procurement, Field Operations, Warehouse and Logistics.

Mr. Eckert studied Solid State Electronic at Somerset County Technical Institute and finished first in his class, receiving Student of the Year honors in 1985. His education continued with numerous technical and management courses at a variety of training institutions.
